Customer Review: Another mediocre knife

These "Silverpoint" knives represent Wusthof's "Entry Level" knives, so I bought this one not expecting much - and was only a little disappointed. For this price the absolute least they could do would be to stipple the handle. It would have made the knife twice as useful and if that added too much to the production cost - then leave out the "Wusthof" logo on the handle. It's not really a knife that you want to associate a great name with anyway. Just my opinion, but I would prefer much thicker steel in a Peeler also. This blade is so limber that it curves away from the fruit or vegetable that you're working on so much that the curved blade is equivalent to a straight blade on a better knife. I know that it's a cheap Wusthof - but I'd like to get as much knife as I paid for (so to speak).
