Similar to other Wusthof knives, the blade, bolster, and tang of the Le Cordon Bleu line are precision-forged from a single piece of high-carbon, stain-resistant steel. However, this line uniquely features a half-bolster design created to reduce hand fatigue and form a lighter, more agile tool. Additionally, the bolster has an atypical rear garnishing point. Three steel rivets securely hold the black, synthetic handle in place while a full visible tang brings strength and balance.
